The Fern Ridge Service Center Partners are in planning stages of the Veneta Harvest Festival scheduled for September 25, 2010 from 10am-5pm. The event will feature local farmers with their end of the summer harvests, food booths from area vendors, merchant vendors, kids activities, pie baking contest, music and so much more. In addition to the days activities, the community can enjoy a Pancake Breakfast and a 5K run. Proceeds from the festival will go to the Fern Ridge Service Center Building Fund and help the partners reach their local fundraising goal of $107,000.
