Again, I would like to thank everyone who supported the Benifits by the Glass at Shadow Mountain Vineyard this past weekend. We had over 22 volunteers and generated over $1,500 in ticket sales and nearly $1000 in raffle and silent auction funds. This fundraiser help bring more awareness to the Service Center building project and stirred up a lot of interest for helping in the future.
To continue the efforts and build on the momentum this fundraiser built, the Fern Ridge Service Center Partners will host a booth at the Veneta Downtown Farmer's Market during the first Friday of each month consigning products from local community members and farmers. The next booth will be set up on July 2, 2010 and will feature eggs and homemade dog treats. And as always the booth will have information about the new center and how you can help.
To get additional exposure the Partners hung a banner at Ray's in the West Lane shopping center with information flyers available as well. Stay tuned for more information on the next fundraiser.
